VINI BIANCHI (WHITES)
2008 Pinot Grigio:
Well balanced, with intriguing scents of citris zest, figs and pears, out Pinot Grigio is delicious with many kinds of antipasti (appetizers) and primi piatti (first courses).
2009 Sauvignon Blanc:
This Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp full bodied white wine with a long finish that offers citrus dlavors with aromatic notes of green chilis, grass herbs, asparagus, and goose berries contributing to the bouquet. This wine was held in stainless at 49 degrees for 6 month and then placed in neutral French oak allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape..
2008 Chardonnay:
This Burgundy styled Chardonnay was hand harvested displaying a flinty mineral nose supporting bright flavors of green apple and pear fruit. The mouth feel is full and round with a nice crisp acidity. A long finish with hints of butter, marzipan, and a touch of vanilla, leave a pleasing memory. This wine goes great with various fish dishes, and can even hold up well to creamy pasta sauces.
2009 Viognier:
This Rhone varietal has a powerful, rich, and complex aroma of apricots and orange blossoms with a creamy texture. This full bodied wine is a late harvest with a lightly sweetened palate.
VINI ROSSI (REDS)
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon:
This exceptional wine showcases classic characteristics of this versatile grape. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is medium bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors, hints of spice and earth tones finished by velvety tannins. Although approachable now, this wine will age gracefully over the next ten years, thusly rewarding those with , as well as those without, patience!
2008 Merlot:
This European styled, medium bodied Merlot has a smooth entry. It is soft across the middle, bursting with cherry and juicy plum flavors, supported by warm spices. Further enhanced by good balance and structure makes this wine great for any occasion.
NV Confluence: (70% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon)
This medium bodied wine with its firm texture and velvet tannins has strong tones of black cherries, chocolate aromas and a spicy plummy finish with hints of currant. This wine pairs excellently with light meat dishes. Enjoy!
NV Harvest Blend: (57% Syrah, 33% Zinfandel, 8% Merlot, 1% Petite Sirah)
This exquisite Alcantara Estate wine is passionately made to enhance the bold Rhone style Syrah with bursting dark berry fruit flavors of the Zinfandel grape. This wine shows great balance, smooth tannin with a well rounded finish.
2006 Sangiovese:
This wine’s vibrant red berry and hints of spice with its deep rich color made it the traditional beverage of choice in Tuscany for hundreds of years!
2008 Zinfandel:
This deep and robust wine is textured with ripe, dark fruit and berry dusted in savory brown sugar. The wine is dazzlingly decorated with rich nuances of Washington apple, raspberry, fresh maple, and silky oak, a true palate and crowd pleaser, the wine is the perfect entertainer.
2006 Syrah:
This wine is dark, bold, and beautiful. The aromas are classic consisting of intense plum and dark berry, surrounded by vanilla and black pepper. The flavors are creamy rich blackberry jam, bittersweet chocolate and smoked meats. Further enhanced by soft structured tannins and a long finish.
