sampling different wines is an important step to learning more about our wine! Not only will you learn a little something, but you'll have a fun time doing it at our winery tasting room.
During your tasting, we'll discuss the aroma, flavor, and color of each wine and you'll discover how important acidity is in the making of wine.
Our winery tasting room offers an easy going, comfortable experience. Alcantara winery overlooks our vineyards and the ancient cliffs of the Verde River. We will help you savor the moment! A little wine information is all you need to enjoy the nectar of the grape.
Hours:
The tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tasting Fee:
Regular Tasting: $10.00 per person
V.I.P Tasting: $15.00 per person
Wine Tasting & Tour Information:
Alcantara visitors are treated to Barbara's (Proprietress) vision as well as to a
picturesque setting. Our tours guide you through the vineyard with information about
trellising, irrigation, varietal's and the philosophy of growing grapes. The tour
lasts approximately 1-
Regular Winery tours are on Friday and Saturday @ 11:30 am. For groups of 40 or more, please call Kerry (928.649.8463) to schedule an appointment. The cost of our regular wine tour is $18.00 (includes regular tasting).
